Dragefjellet Minifestival

A warm, nostalgic identity that turns Bergen’s cozy streets into a festival filled with music, color, and community.

Dragefjellet Minifestival is a cultural event that transforms Bergen’s historic streets into a cozy and vibrant festival space. The challenge was to develop a visual identity that captures the festival’s warm, community-driven atmosphere while ensuring strong recognizability across various touchpoints.

The design concept is built on a playful yet harmonious aesthetic, combining hand-drawn elements, organic typography, and soft color contrasts to evoke a sense of nostalgia and togetherness. The logo takes inspiration from Bergen’s architecture, integrating a handcrafted feel that aligns with the festival’s intimate and local character. A custom color palette and textured graphic elements further enhance the identity, creating a system that is flexible yet cohesive across print, digital, and merchandise applications.

The final visual identity is applied to posters, social media assets, website design, wayfinding, and festival merchandise, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence. The result is an identity that feels personal, inviting, and distinctly tied to the Dragefjellet community, making the festival not just an event, but an experience.
